I'm also more worried about the Becks of the world than the Obamas. Better a good enemy than a bad friend.
Didn't mean to so severely hijack your thread or seem like I'm being a dick, Alienator just wanted to point some stuff out. The right wants to excuse Constitutional abuses done by "their guy" and the left does the same thing when "their guy" is in power. For 8 years of Bush the false left bitched about how he was abusing his power but had no problem when Klinton did it. The right also bitched for 8 years of Klinton's war against freedom but made every excuse for King George's abuse of his office. There is no difference between a right or left boot on your neck. Also remember whenever the other guy wins he doesn't undo the treason of the previous President. It is all a big game. Republican or Democrat you get the same result in the end. It is the same with the talking heads. Both keep you focused on BS and not the main issue. The left wants unlimited banker bailouts for instance and the right wants caps on banker bailouts. The real issue is banker bailouts should not happen. The talking heads also reverse themselves whether it is their leader in charge or not. Hannity did not support Klinton's illegal wars but did support Bush's illegal wars. The only difference was who sent the troops without a declaration of war from Congress. The false left did the exact opposite. The real question is the President should not be using the military as his private police force and Americans should not die for others countries interests. If Iraqis didn't like Saddam let them overthrow him. Both parties are selling us down the drain. Both are seeking to limit freedom of speech and the ability to resist tyranny. Both will co-opt any group which will wake up the people. There is no better way to control your opposition then to lead it. Look at Bill Klinton. The best the Republicans could come up with was him getting a Presidental blow-job? If I was President I'd expect to be having sex with hot chicks daily. They ignored his unconsitutional laws, bills, policies, UN involvement and deaths of close friends and advisors under suspicious circumstances. It's all a game. Anyone who wants your gun, ability to resist limited, ability to warn others stopped is the enemy. Pick up a copy of "None Dare Call it Treason". This has been going on for over 100 years. -------------------- CivilianDefenseForce.com - training for the modern militiaman

Well.....
I *like* Glenn Beck - and I think he is doing more to "wake people up" than anyone else alive. Do I agree with him on everything he talks about?? NOPE. However - I haven't met anyone that I *DO* agree with 100%. There is always some point of disagreement about something. That is what makes life and people interesting. I would share a fox hole with Glenn Beck or Rush Limbaugh any day. Can't say the same about 99% of everyone else on TV or radio. I believe they are trying to do the right thing. They may not always be doing or saying the right thing - but I think they are trying to do the right thing (along with making money - which is every red blooded American's goal too.) cheers tire iron -------------------- An amateur practices something until he does it right – a pro practices something until he can’t do it wrong.

TI said "I *like* Glenn Beck - and I think he is doing more to "wake people up" than anyone else alive." I agree for the most part, if you don't, name someone else who does a better job, with an equal or greater amount of exposure to the sheeple. Did anyone see his show this afternoon? I watched long enough to see the part on the 2nd amendment, and he was spot on.

Just a quick .02 that doesn't have anything to do with an (in my not so humble opinion) argument which is utterly stupid about weather or not we will ever find a TALK SHOW HOST who is conservative enough.
But as a response to the equally retarded reasoning that congress has to say some magic words for a war to be legal. That is not, nor has it ever been the case. The fact that the magic word has been used five times( 1812, Mexican American War, Spanish American War, WWI and WWII) in history, does not mean that when it is not uttered. the conflict is illegal. The constitution only states WHO has the power to declare war, it does not state in ANY WAY what so ever what WORDS must be entered into the record for it to go forward. The reason this bothers me so much is because those that state this are either being used as tools them selves and are just repeating what they heard, or they sound like the same kind of idiot that thinks because the 2nd amendment has the magic word "Regulate" in it it means guns must be regulated, or the magic word "Militia" means National Guard, this is the exact same mentality and it is frustrating coming from people who in most ways, think for them selves. Edited to correct spelling and tone down my insulting rhetoric. -------------------- ...Four Standard Deviations...
